Las personas utilizan el lenguaje para comunicarse. Según la intención del hablante, las oraciones se pueden clasificar en:
Oraciones enunciativas afirmativas
Oraciones interrogativas
Oraciones imperativas o exhortativas
Oraciones enunciativas negativas
Oraciones exclamativas
Oraciones dubitativas
